The photos below are from yesterday’s massive march in Mexico City, from Los Pinos to the Zócalo, to protest the disappearance of the 43 normalistas of Ayotzinapa, Guerrero–and the impunity and government corruption that made it possible. The Mexican news site Sin Embargo described what is happening in Mexico as “the largest mobilization of outraged citizens in at least the last decade.” (If you haven’t been following this story Francisco Goldman’s two recent New Yorker pieces are a good place to start.)
